Google Discovery

Google Discovery connects Google Workspace to XFA so you can discover devices associated with your organization. Once connected, XFA uses Google Workspace data to improve device visibility and prepare those devices for reporting, Awareness messages, or Enforcement. Use it to connect the source and confirm devices appear in XFA.

The Discovery page has been redesigned

To add a connection, open the Discovery page and select + New, then choose Google and select Continue. You are taken to the Google setup page, where you connect from Step 1. The steps below then apply. Discovery reads the devices in your organization from the connected identity provider.

Step 1: Get Started with Device Discovery

To begin the device discovery process in your Google environment, navigate to the XFA dashboard. Under Discovery, you will see an option to discover devices in multiple environments. Choose Discover devices in Google as shown below.
