XFA Referral Program

Know a team that would get value from XFA? Share your referral link. When the company you referred becomes a paying customer, you get a €250 gift card, and they get 10% off their first year.

How it works

  1. Get your link. If you are an admin, you can find your personal link in the XFA dashboard, under Subscription > Referrals.
    • If you are not an admin, open the XFA app and click on the gift icon.
  2. Share it. Send it to anyone you think should be using XFA. By email, Slack, LinkedIn, however you like.
  3. They start a trial and become a customer. Anyone who opens your link starts their XFA trial from it, and that’s all it takes for the referral to be registered. When they convert to a paid subscription, their 10% first-year discount is applied automatically.
  4. You get your reward. Once they’ve been a paying customer for 30 days, your €250 gift card is on its way.

Who can refer

Any XFA customer can take part. Referral links are personal, so every user in your organization gets their own.

Your link shows your first name only. The people you share it with see that John sent them, not where John works.

What counts as a successful referral

A referral qualifies when all of the following are true:

  • The company started their trial from your link
  • Their paid subscription is for 10 users or more
  • They have been a paying customer for 30 days, counted from their first payment
  • They are new to XFA. Current and former customers don’t count.

What doesn’t qualify

  • Companies already talking to us. If the company was already in an active conversation with XFA when the trial started, the account is sales-sourced and not referred.
  • Former customers. A company that has been an XFA customer at any point in the past isn’t eligible to be referred.
  • Companies that already had a trial with us. The referral has to be the reason they came to XFA.
  • Subscriptions under 10 users.
  • One-off services. The program covers XFA subscriptions only.

Good to know

One offer at a time. The 10% first-year discount can’t be combined with other promotions or discounts.

Check with your employer first. A referral reward is a personal gift card. Some organizations have policies about accepting incentives from suppliers, so it’s worth checking yours before you take part.

Leaving your company? Referral links are tied to your XFA user account. If your account is deactivated, your link stops working.

How many companies can I refer?

As many as you like.

When do I get my gift card?

After the company you referred has been a paying customer for 30 days.

Can I refer more than one person at the same company?

The referral is registered against the company, not the person. If several people at the same company use your link, it counts as one referral.

Does the company I referred know I referred them?

Yes. Your first name is shown when they open your link.

What if two people refer the same company?

The link that started the trial is the one that counts.

Then there’s no referral to track, and no reward. The trial has to start from your link.

No. Links can’t be used by anyone at the referrer’s own company or email domain.

Fair use and program integrity

Referrals must be made in good faith. A referral means a real recommendation to a real company with a real interest in XFA. Nothing else counts, whatever the mechanics technically allow.

The following are not permitted:

  • Referring your own company, or any company you own, control, or are affiliated with
  • Creating accounts, users, organizations or trials for the purpose of generating referrals or rewards
  • Any arrangement where the company you refer is paid, rebated, or otherwise compensated for using your link
  • Starting a trial on a company’s behalf, or referring a company without its knowledge
  • Sharing your link by spam, bulk unsolicited email, or any channel that misrepresents XFA or your relationship with us
  • Paid advertising that bids on XFA’s name, brand or product terms, or any placement that could be mistaken for XFA’s own advertising
  • Automated, bulk or scripted distribution of referral links

This list is not exhaustive. We reserve the right not to proceed with a referral whenever it defeats the purpose of the program.

Terms

Rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or paid out in another form. Any tax arising on a reward is the responsibility of the person who receives it.

XFA may change these terms, or change or end the program, at any time. Changes will be published on this page. Referrals that have already qualified when a change takes effect will be honoured under the terms that applied when the referral link was used.
